Hey, sorry, & let me rant

Well hello there! I humbly apologise for the lack of blog posts and videos as there are things in my life that are really important right now. I won't bore you with details, but I've been having some stuff that has been... well lets just say it's out of sort. Said enough!

Anyway, here's the reason why I'm writing this post. Forgive my language in this as I don't have any other alternative use of words to describe how I feel. I don't want to offend anyone, but if I do, you have my permission to contact me and tell me that I've offended you.

This year, (2017), has brought out the most outrageous events I have seen in my life. Not only globally but personally too. But I think if you can put one word on it, it would have to be educational. And it has been one of those years where even if I could make any sense of it I couldn't. The only way that I can describe it is this:

Politically, it has been the most fucked up year I've ever witness.

I am just gobsmacked about the way America is at the moment. Sadly, I can't do anything about it, but I'm confident that there will be a revolution, and there will come a day where people will say "you know what? Fuck this! I'm not living in a world like this." And they will get out there and do something about it. Now, I'm not saying go out there and start WW3 or a riot, because that helps nobody. That is fighting fire with fire. What I'm saying is stand up for what you believe in, have a discussion in a calm, peaceful way, and live your life in the best way you can.

Now, let's move away from politics, and let's talk about the highlights of 2017!

I did a few gigs before I left Australia. And that was so special to me because the main reason why I became a comedian was because I want to make people happy. Because there's not enough happiness in the world at the moment as there should be. So that's my mission in life, to make people all over the world happy. If you can't be happy, then what the hell is the point in life? As far as I'm concerned, being happy is an essential ingredient to a magical life. Sure, sometimes it's hard to be happy, and sometimes we get down and depressed. I know what it's like.

Nobody is perfect. That is just a fact of life. I don't care who you are, perfect does not exist in any way, shape, or form. If you think you're "perfect", I've got some news for you that you're not going to like. You may be special, but you ARE NOT perfect. Hell, I know I'm not, I'm the furthest thing from it. And nor do I want to be either. Because perfect to me means you don't grow as a human being. And you need to grow because that's apart of nature. Growth is what makes the world a better place to be in. And that's what 2017 was for me at least. It was about discovering who I am and what I wanted in life.

What we need to do as we enter 2018 is trust our instincts not the media. Because if we hang on to the media we are influenced by them and we just go with whatever they say. Nobody can tell you how to live your life except yourself. If you want to fight this global fight that's going on, fight it peacefully. Violence doesn't solve anything. Anger doesn't solve anything. Yes, it's hard not to get angry, and sometimes we need to get angry to work though the pain, but if you want to make changes in the world, then you need to be calm, you need to have a plan, you need to listen to others, and you need to get out in public and express your thoughts and feelings and allow others to do the same.

So to summarise, 2017 was a wacky, crazy, exciting, depressing, exhausting, but fun year. There isn't one word to describe this year because it was a mixed bag globally. And that's how it is sometimes because life is a tricky business. We have a choice, we either play the game of life or we don't. And for some of us we check out because it gets too difficult. OR, we just need to rethink our strategy. Because for some of us we love playing the game. We become addicted to it. It's like a drug. Every time we get near it, we can smell the sweetness of the game, and then we taste it, and it makes us feel good. For others though, it tastes bitter, and they throw it away. Either way you look at life, you're right. The way you play or don't play game is the right way for you.

So, whatever you do, have a Merry Christmas, be safe, and let's look forward to a fresh start in 2018.
