Jason Gunn: New Zealand television personality

In a few weeks time, I'll be making my stand-up debut, and it's a big thing for me because I've always aspired to be a comic all my life, and now I'll be one! And boy have I worked hard for it!

I have lots of people who I admire and look up to, but the first person who I really liked and admire is New Zealand's TV personality Jason Gunn. Jason, (the man in the photo), has a certain wit and charisma to him that I find unique, and even though he's not technically a stand-up comic, he kind of is in my point of view. He did a very funny impression of John McEnroe way back in the 90's. which I still find funny.

I even met him, twice! He's such a nice guy, and he's really outgoing in a gentle way. His vibe is just like a cool bloke just hanging out with you. This photo on the left was taken at Mt Victoria in Wellington New Zealand. I was 8 years old at the time. It was so cool meeting him at that particular time because I'd always dreamed of meeting him, and I was fortunate to meet him two times! 😄

I'm so excited to be a comedian, because I have a lot of stories to tell, and a lot of them are funny. Not everything can be funny, but for the ones that can be I can make jokes out of. And that's what I want to do as a career, because that's what I do. I joke about, I have fun! I laugh at myself, and I love it! I've been doing that ever since I can remember.

I'll be performing on the 9th of September, and it's being filmed, so I'll put it on YouTube once it's edited!
